Pete Deamer

I started cycling in my mid teens and I won the Western Division Schoolboy Circuit Championships at the age of 15. I then went on to race throughout the UK as a junior and then as a first category senior rider. I have also raced in France. I am passionate about cycle racing and want to ensure the future of road racing in the UK by working to provide the highest possible safety standards.

Now, no longer a competitive rider, I enjoy working on road and circuit races.

I am a Regional A Road Commissaire, Accredited Marshall and Regular Convoy Driver. I have completed four years as a South Regional Board member and a National Councillor. As part of this position I am responsible for the allocation of Commissaires to events on the road throughout the Region and I am the Equipment Manager. I have now also assumed the role as Chair of the South Region Road Work Group.
