Odd Down is a purpose built cycle circuit just south of Bath.

It is 1.5km long and is the home to a summer and winter series of races. It has been especially important as a facility in helping women cyclists try racing for the first time in the South Region. It is used by quite a few local clubs, all of which have specific coaching programs for riders of all ages and abilities.

Racing is not as smooth here as Castle Combe. The corners require you to jump hard out of them, which adds a criterium like feel to the circuit. All in all, it makes for great training races, both physically and technically.

The new club house is comfortable and warm and most weekends there is a good quality cafe open. It is a mutli-discplinary sports centre with football, cricket and rugby clubs also using the grounds. It has a busy, fun vibe to it.
